A Jumbo Bag is a durable, heavy-duty bag used for general waste that can be used as an alternative to a skip bin. Exclusive to Kaitaia and close surrounding areas, the Jumbo Bag offers a new convenient service for those who need a large bin but want the flexibility of filling it in your own time.

1. Head down to Northland Waste Kaitaia (22 Church Road, Kaitaia) to purchase and collect your bag. 2. From there, take it home, set it up and fill the bag. 3. Once you're ready for the bag to be picked up, call our team on 09 408 2594, and we will collect the bag within 5 days of your call.

The Jumbo Bag has a maximum capacity of 3m³. The contents of the bag MUST NOT exceed the maximum weight of 600kg. DO NOT fill the bag up past the top edges as the operator will be unable to safely remove the bag.
The cost of the bags ranges from $150 - $170. However, for people outside the service area, personalised quotes can be arranged. Region 1 (Kaitaia Central) - $150 Region 2 ( Kaitaia Surrounding Area) - $160 Region 3 (Ahipara to Waimanoni) - $170 All Other Areas - Please enquire about price. Included in the bag's price is the hire of the bag as well as the collection fee.
