One of our main focuses in this space has been the development of a landfill diversion program that aims to reduce the amount of amount wood that ends up going to landfills each year. Timber makes up 12.5% of all waste going to New Zealand’s landfills each year. Here at Northland Waste, we can reuse your wood waste. The program is designed to utilise the biomass of the diverted wood to replace coal in industrial applications.
