Northland Waste is pleased to share that on 1 December 2025, Northland Waste acquired the majority of FullCircle fiber business in the North Island. FullCircle specialises in the collection, consolidation, and processing of recyclable paper and cardboard, with a long-standing reputation for sustainable solutions and reliable service across New Zealand. The acquisition marks an important step in strengthening Northland Waste’s national recycling and resource-recovery capability.
Northland Waste Managing Director Ray Lambert says the move supports the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering practical, high-quality recycling solutions for customers and communities.
“FullCircle is a natural fit for our company. Their focus on quality fibre recovery and their history of dependable service align strongly with our values as a 100% Kiwi-owned business,” says Lambert. “This step broadens our capability across the full recycling chain and allows us to offer customers an even more complete, end-to-end solution.”
With FullCircle joining the Group, Northland Waste will strengthen its national fibre, cardboard, and paper recycling network, increasing both operational reach and innovation in resource recovery.
As part of the transition, Northland Waste will also introduce a refreshed FullCircle brand identity - one that reflects the Group’s Kiwi-owned story and practical, customer-focused approach. The updated brand will be rolled out from 1 December across FullCircle’s operating regions in South Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Hawke’s Bay.
Lambert says the company’s priority is ensuring a smooth and well-supported integration.
“We’re incredibly proud of the work our teams do every day, and we appreciate the effort that will go into this transition. This is a positive step for our people, our customers, and the communities we serve.”
Northland Waste is one of New Zealand’s few large, fully Kiwi-owned waste and recycling companies, delivering services through its family of local brands including Northland Waste, Econowaste, Low Cost Bins, and FullCircle.
