We’re excited to share some exciting news with you: Northland Waste has acquired Garden Waste Solutions with our services commencing the 1st of December. 

As a 100% locally owned and operated business ourselves, we take pride in serving our community with reliable, high-quality service. We’re thrilled to welcome you to Northland Waste and are committed to making this transition seamless and hassle-free. 

Below, we’ve outlined some important details to ensure a smooth transition, so please take the time to read and feel free to reach out if you need any further information.

What stays the same: 

  • Collections: we are pleased to let you know that all collections will continue as usual, with no changes to your current collection day. To ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption, we have been working behind the scenes to learn the routes and where your bag or bin is located so we can continue to maintain the same reliable experience you’ve come to expect.

So, what changes:

  • Contact Us: If you need assistance with your service or have any questions, we’re here to help. You can reach us at 0800 499 246 or email us at dispatch@northlandwaste.co.nz for bookings, inquiries, or any other support. We’re always happy to assist.
  • Account Details: All your current account information and service plan will be seamlessly transferred to Northland Waste’s systems from 1st December. If you need to make any changes to your account or service after this date, the Northland Waste team will be your new point of contact and will be happy to assist. Please keep an eye out for future communications from Northland Waste, as we will send account invoices for your service via email to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Account Payment: All payments for services completed after 1st December 2024 will need to be made to Northland Waste. You will receive your invoice from us via email, and please remember to update your bank payment details to ensure a smooth transition:

Important: Always include your 6-digit Northland Waste account number as a reference (you can find it in your email/letter from Northland Waste) when making payments to ensure uninterrupted service.

A Few Helpful Account Tips:

  • Automatic Payments: If you use automatic payments, please update your payment details as soon as possible to ensure payments are correctly processed for services from 1st December 2024 onwards.
  • Prepay Customers: Any existing credit balances have been carried over and will be reflected as a credit on your next invoice.
